In older age, it often takes a little longer to find the right word. With CLARA, you can train language access through AI-chats andlanguage-related games. Participate!

What is the study about?

The experimental phoniatrics of the ENT clinic, the Neurology Clinic and the Medical Informatics of Hannover Medical School are currently conducting a feasibility study to investigate the usability of the CLARA (Cognitive Language Assistant and Retrieval Aid) app for the 60+ target group. This aims to investigate how older people evaluate the handling and use of the CLARA app, an AI-supported language assistant, in everyday life.

Who can participate?

  • Persons aged 60 and over
  • Persons without diagnosed language or speech disorders
  • Persons without current or past structural disease of the central nervous system (<6 months)
  • Persons without massive hearing/vision impairment (may be corrected) or dyslexia

Screening tests for hearing, vision and cognitive abilities

Free use of the CLARA app in everyday life

Questionnaires and interviews about your experiences with the app
